Berry Hill Welcomes Rev. Tom Irby
and his wife, Dea, into our church family
Tom Irby and his wife Dea come to Berry Hill Presbyterian with over 50 years in ministry, planting and growing churches all over the south. They are excited to go “north” to VA to bring the joy of the Gospel through preaching and discipleship. They have been married over 50 years, have eight grown children, 5 in full time ministry, and 20 grandchildren.
Tom entered RTS seminary in 1974 and graduated in 1977. He has been a Christian for 54 years and was full time in the ministry for 45 years. He was a pastor specializing in church planting and renewal with the PCA most of his career. Most recently, he moved to North Carolina to work with the ARP and retired here.

We welcome Gabe Irby, the son of our pastor and his wife. Gabe is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of Wake Forest University. While at Wake Forest, Gabe played varsity football and sang with Chi Rho, an all-male a cappella group. Gabe has recorded the song "Washed by the Water" (Spotify).

Community Events
A good number of members attended the Youth Revival that was held in Constitution Square. Fellowship, music, food, prayer and worship wsa enjoyed by all
Several of the members of our congregation participated and/or donated to the Halifax County Cancer Association 22nd Annual Walk for Hope. Approximately $64,300 was raised by the community. Thank you to all that participated.
